Pagan Fest August 31, 2018 - September 2, 2018

Merry meet and blessed be! A warm hearth, the joyous laughter of age old friends you've only just met, a magical circle and magical wares to be had. Join us at The Escape Ranch for our third annual PaganFest where we honor the path and all who walk it.

We have been here for four years and have been involved in the community for decades. Our coven, the Enchanted Moon has been active for ages unknown and The Escape Ranch is proud to host their meeting hall. Our high priestess Gypsie welcomes all who walk and wonder it's ways. Please clear your Gregorian calendars for Labor day weekend and we will see you here!

Mama Gina

Mama Gina is a Pagan Bard, singer/songwriter, fearless storyteller, and wanderlust. With down-to-earth, bluesy vocals, a bit of humor, and straight-ahead, rhythmic, acoustic guitar, djembe and frame drum, she tells the true stories that fall into her head and heart. She sings of life, death and rebirth. She sings of holding on and letting go. She speaks to the Gods and Goddesses and they speak back. Oh, boy, do they speak back! She sings their stories as they become her own. She sings of her spiritual connection to the natural world, and of our responsibility to nurture both the mundane and the magical. When she is not performing, you just might find her camping in the woods seeking inspiration from the earth beneath her feet and the vast, open sky.

Nine Toes the Bard

It's all fun and games until someone loses a ... toe! No figment of Mama Gina's imagination, Nine Toes the Bard will have you singing along. Dragons and pirates, something for the kids, and something naughty NOT FOR THE KIDS. It's all in the music. Her companions are colorful, her stories are outrageously true, and her world is one you will wish to visit time and time again.

Mama Gina and Nine Toes the Bard CDs are available for purchase at every show, and online at CDBaby, iTunes, and amazon.com.

Celia Farran

Singer/Songwriter/Comedienne Celia has been described as “A cross between an Earthy Enya, Joan Baez, and Tina Fey.” She dishes up the most delicious concoction of the silly and sacred delighting audiences across the nation. In addition to having the kind of silky smooth voice often associated with classic Celtic Singers, such as “Celtic Woman”, Celia excels at comedy. She often transforms right on stage into one or more of her alter-egos-whose antics typically leave the audience howling with laughter. With powerful, heart-felt vocals and wacky comedic improvisations, the audience never knows what will happen with Celia on stage.

Celia often uses sophisticated “looping” technology to perform duets, trios, and even larger ensembles with herself. Nothing is pre-recorded. She lays down a track then using the looping technology harmonizes with herself — all live and in real time. The result is an amazing listening experience for the audience.

Celia has opened for notable authors: Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson & Dr. Masaru Emoto, provided live music for the Off-Broadway production of Rum & Vodka, & has received a “Best Storytelling CD” nomination for Irish Tales by the International Just Plain Folks Awards (The Grassroots of Grammies). Her “Symbol” song has been named the “Anthem for the Veteran Pentacle Quest” in support of Religious tolerance & acceptance.

Celia is from Wisconsin and calls Prescott, AZ home. She is currently touring with her 10th album, Letting Go. No matter how many times you think you’ve seen Celia, you can never predict what she will do and how deeply she can reach into the soul of an audience. Celia’s range of styles and entertainment is far more than a concert. It is more like a full Cabaret.

“Go out of your way to see her. You won’t be disappointed.”
Rick’s Café Magazine

“Celia’s music calls women to their glory and men to their hearts.”
Marianne Williamson, Author A Return to Love

“Celia is an ambrosia of vitality flowing from sweet to sass with the utmost of grace.”
Gemma, “A Million Voice Choir”

Tuatha Dea

CELTIC TRIBAL GYPSY ROCK! Tuatha Dea is pure primal energy with a Celtic and World twist. The bands eclectic sound blends the tribal vibe of primitive drums with conventional and non conventional instruments such as guitar, bass, modern and Native American flutes, Didgeridoo and more as well as a myriad of vocal styles to create a truly unique sound. Born of a family drum circle, the group delivers an authentic tribal and clannish feel that not only draws the audience into the music but into the moment and family as well. Their rhythmic groove naturally inspires audience participation which has become a staple of their performances. From the beginning the band has embraced its Celtic heritage and meshed the traditional music of Scotland, Ireland and Great Britain with the pulse-pounding heartbeat of the drums to produce unique versions of traditional favorites like “Aillien Duinn”, “Danny Boy”, “Whiskey In A Jar”, “Loch Lomond” , “Skye Boat” and others. The group’s eclectic nature also incorporates a rock, blues, new age, world and even punk edge into their repertoire of material to further widen their appeal. Original music such as the Celtic mythology of their namesake song “Tuatha de Danaan” , “Celtic Woman”, “Irish Handfasting”, “Aradia”, “Akasha”, and “Pipers Pay” as well as mainstream compositions such as “The Sky Is Falling” , ” Falling Down” , “Tonight” and “Granny’s Bedtime Tonic” marks Tuatha Dea as a creative force.
